cfng is an operating environment for configuration management, systems
automation and site administration. We provide a basic software
framework, based on a fork of the GNU cfengine project.
Latest Release
The current release of cfng is a technology preview and primarily a
re-branding of cfengine. We assume a working knowledge of GNU cfengine
in lieu of the forthcoming documentation that will available on
cfng.org

Mission
The cfng project aims at creating a comprehensive framework for
configuration management based on the latest research in the field and
on a pragmatic base of experience from computing environments of any
scale.
The cfng project is both a software development effort and an
essential, practical and theoretical body of knowledge related to
the field of system administration.
